HomeBuilders Overview
This year started
out with a mission trip to the Asia Pacific Missionary Retreat
in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Thelnita spoke to the
missionary wives at the retreat, and I had a chance to speak
to Antioch Baptist Church in Chiang Mai Friday night,
Saturday night, and Sunday on the family. Thanks so much
to Rusty and Susan Teer and Brent and Tawm Rosendal for all
their hospitality.
On the way home we
stopped in Hong Kong for a few days of rest and recreation.
However that did not turn out to be very restful as Thelnita
caught Type A flu. We arrived safely home and went
straight to our doctor. The flu progressed into viral
pneumonia and Thelnita was hospitalized. To make a long
story short she got progressively worse and ended up in ICU
and not expected to survive. However our gracious
Lord brought her through. We were in hospitals for seven
weeks, and Thelnita is now recovering and looking forward to
the retreat this fall.
Thanks to all of you for your prayers and concern during this
difficult time. You are truly a blessing!
