Couples Retreat
October 17-18
The focus of the tenth annual
Coupes Retreat is Building a Godly Family Legacy. Friday
night will be a time to relax and enjoy a concert followed by your choice of free time or a bonfire.
Saturday important topics in the areas of Parenting,
Marriage, Finance, and Family Health will be addressed from a
biblical perspective. The new expanded Saturday schedule
will have a general session and four concurrent sessions both in
the morning and afternoon.

HomeBuilders Overview
This year started
out quite calmly compared to last year. We were actually
home during the whole month of January. Then things
started to pick up with a financial speaking engagement at
Victory Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas in
February and the 2008 World Missions Seminar in March.
Then the schedule really took off in April, May and June with
the Wellness Seminar at Texas Baptist Institute, the Oklahoma
Ladies Retreat, a Marriage Enrichment Seminar in Daingerfield,
Texas, SOS North at Rock Haven Camp, and then a missionary
support trip to Scotland. The middle of the year is
dedicated to a very special blessing - the birth of our fifth
grandson, Nate Lyons. We start back up in August with
Missionary Training Ministry Module One in Estes Park,
Colorado, a Conflict Management Seminar in Tulsa, Missionary
Training Ministry Module Two at Budd Creek Camp, and finally
the 2008 Couples Retrat.
Thanks to all of you who helped support us through prayers and
