The Finchers

Larry and Thelnita Fincher, co-founders of HomeBuilders Ministry, have extensive experience in teaching, counseling, and working with families in areas of marriage, parenting, and finances. They have been married for 40 years and during that time have presented seminars nationally and internationally, ministered to families in the local church, and raised two children, Angey  and Timothy. Larry is the Family Pastor at Rowland Road Baptist Church, Monroe Louisiana. Over the last 30 years he has studied extensively, developed material, counseled, and taught classes pertaining to the Christian family. He received a BSEE and MSEE  from the University of Arkansas and until taking early retirement was employed as a Director for Entergy Corporation covering Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and the City of New Orleans. Currently he is the Director of HomeBuilders Ministry.

Thelnita received a BS in Home Economics from the University of North Texas and has 29 years of teaching experience in child development, parenting, consumer education, marriage, and interpersonal relationships at the high school and middle school levels. She is a co-founder and partner in HomeBuilders Ministry.

The Finchers' were members of Olive Street Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, Arkansas for 23 years. They now are members on the staff of Rowland Road Baptist Church in Monroe, Louisiana.
